How can I make EFT payments?

EFT payments

We use Hyphen PDA for all payments and debit orders. Hyphen’s role is to distribute your money to all of your credit providers, they are owned by the FirstRand Group who ensures your money is safe and secure.

 

Hyphen Banking Details for EFT payments

You can use the bank details below when making an EFT/Manual payment for your monthly Debt Counselling installment:

Please Note: Ensure you use your ID number as a reference so that your payment can be allocated to your account. Any reference error may result in payments not being allocated to your account.

 

If you make the payment through your internet banking, you can search for Hyphen Technology under public recipients. Once you have made the payment, please forward us the proof of payment to update our system accordingly. 

 

When would you require Hyphen Banking Details?

  1. When your debit order is unsuccessful and you want to make a manual payment.
  2. When Hyphen PDA has terminated your account due to consecutive unsuccessful debit orders. In which case, a new Debit Order Mandate form will be required to request that Hyphen PDA reinstate your debit order. 
  3. When you have disputed a payment and Hyphen PDA terminates your account due to high risk and/or loss caused to Hyphen PDA. In this case, a new Debit Order Mandate form is required to request that Hyphen PDA reinstate your debit order. However, we cannot guarantee that Hyphen PDA will reinstate your debit order as you are considered a high-risk client. 
  4. When we have suspended our services and you wish to be reinstated as a client.
  5. If your debit order was unsuccessful and you wish for your Creditors to receive payment immediately.

 

What should you do after EFT payments are made? 

  1. You should forward us the proof of payment.
  2. Once we have received your proof of payment, we will ensure that your creditors receive their payments according to your payment plan.
